# A 100 MW project, three gates, no universal total

ANRE's 2026 materials describe guarantees at connection, capacity allocation and establishment authorisation. The three formulas are not automatically one amount to pay.

## The short answer

- Connection: 20% of the connection tariff excluding VAT in the relevant branches above 1 MW.
- Allocation in 2026: €20,000/MW of requested capacity.
- Authorisation: €30/kW of installed power in the ATR, for eligible applications.

For the hypothetical 100 MW example, authorisation gives `100,000 kW × €30/kW = €3,000,000`, while allocation gives `100 MW × €20,000/MW = €2,000,000`. Connection remains `0.20 × T`, where T is the tariff excluding VAT. These are conditional values and are not automatically added.

## Exceptions and limits

Order 16/2026 keeps exceptions for good-performance guarantees under contracts for difference and repowering without increased power. Storage added at the same site and hybrid projects appear in the August draft procedure and must be read against the status of the applicable document.
