# Trace a procurement published in TED

Link notices by identifiers and distinguish a procurement announcement from a contract award.

## 1. Define the selection

Search by buyer or place of performance and specify the time window. Retain the query with the results.

Check notice type and procedure identifiers. Look for corrections and an award notice before drawing conclusions about the contract.

For references to EU acts, retain identifier and version. Legal interpretation needs additional checking.
