## 2. Audit major industrial installations

Consult the PRTR register to identify major industrial emission sources in the county and chemical substances released.

## 3. Add meteorological and wind context

Correlate pollutant dispersion with wind speed, direction, ambient temperature and precipitation at the nearest ANM station.

## Caution

Isolated limit exceedances at a single monitoring station do not automatically indicate uniform county-wide pollution. Atmospheric stillness and thermal inversions can temporarily magnify ground concentrations.
