# Check transport provision on a given day

Choose the edition and service calendar before counting trips or comparing connections.

## 1. Choose date and version

For Bucharest and Ilfov, choose the relevant version. Read service calendars and exceptions; an available file may describe a future period.

## 2. Check operator coverage

For trains, select the annual edition and verify the operator in the file. A CFR Călători record does not establish coverage of every operator.

## 3. Locate stations carefully

Use mapping data as context and check identifier-coordinate matches. Similar names do not prove two stops are the same place.

## Caution

A planned timetable does not measure punctuality. Row count alone is not the number of services on a day.
