# Policy at Your Doorstep

A postcode assigns you to a network operator, a council, a health board, a flood cell and a constituency. Those lines were drawn on different days for different jobs. Type the code from the letterbox and the recent rules that share this step come up as a section through the stone.

## Kerb constants

- £1,663: Ofgem typical dual-fuel Direct Debit, 1 Jul to 30 Sep 2026
- 13%: Rise on the April 2026 cap, same typical household
- £150: Warm Home Discount 2025/26 Core Group rebate
- May 2026: ONS postcode directory vintage used for the join

## How the cut is made

A live Great Britain postcode is joined to May 2026 ONS directory codes. Each number sits on the shelf that published it: Ofgem for the cap, DESNZ for neighbourhood fuel poverty, ONS for local rents, IMD 2025 for housing-barriers and patient-to-GP indicators, NHS England for ICB elective waits, and NaPTAN for access nodes near the neighbourhood centroid. A thread appears only when two published facts share this step. Warm Home Discount is a household scheme. An area figure cannot prove that a household qualifies. Flood class is not published here; the official England checker is on the reply slip.

The full postcode stays in the browser. The page fetches only an outward-code shard. Queries are not stored.

Live Great Britain units come from the ONS Postcode Directory, May 2026. Northern Ireland addressing rows are not included. Official checkers remain on the page.

Worked example: M2 5PD, Manchester Central Library.
