3 steps

### Three checks for a trip through Romania

Start with your departure airport, check the return separately and, if you cross the Danube, check the direction of travel.

### 1. Choose your departure airport ↗ (https://mariuscomper.uk/lichide-bagaj-mana/en/#checker)

Open the Romanian airport shown on your ticket and check its linked official source before departure.

How recent is the rule you are relying on?

The page compares SRI information documented for 17 airports and read on 4 November 2026; rules can change, so check the airport’s instructions before departure.

### 2. Check transfers and the return journey ↗ (https://mariuscomper.uk/lichide-bagaj-mana/en/#intoarcere)

Check each airport where you will pass through security separately.

Which of the rules you encounter limits what you can pack?

Examples follow published rules for the included airports; exceptions and gaps in a source’s wording are flagged separately.

### 3. Crossing the Danube? Check the direction ↗ (https://mariuscomper.uk/taxa-pod-dunare/en/#alege)

If your route includes a crossing, choose the location and direction in the tool and open its official source.

Does the amount refer to your crossing and direction?

The page is updated for changes dated 1 October 2026 and shows amounts from linked sources; check the official source before travelling.

Continue with the projects and collections below.

- Romania’s level crossings: how many passenger trains cut across each road, hour by hour (https://mariuscomper.uk/trecerea-la-nivel/en/)

Every train in the 2025–26 timetable placed on its line: 325 passenger trains a weekday cross Strada Marmurei and Strada Soldat Neagoe Teodor in Bucharest, and all ten of the busiest crossings lie between Bucharest and Ploiești. A day-clock for each of the 3,272 level crossings with passenger trains.

For your days in Barcelona: when the sun rises behind the Torre Glòries (21–23 April and 20–22 August in 2027), when it sets at the far end of the Diagonal, and when it shines the whole length of the Eixample's streets. The minute, the day and where to stand.

The water's edge on nine Barcelona beaches, measured every 20 metres on 29 aerial photos, 1946–2025. At Barceloneta the sea is where it was in 1957; at Mar Bella it is 270 metres further out. Across the nine beaches, the sand added in 2010 was gone within about a decade. The coast unrolled into one strip, year by year, and every beach with its own width.
