Law 260/2008 requires a 50 or 130 lei annual policy against earthquake, flood and landslide. On 31 July 2026, 24.9% of the dwellings in the INS housing stock had one.

## Pechea

In September 2024 PAID reported 7.1% in Pechea (248 policies out of 3,495). On 31 July 2026: 25.6% (962 of 3,765). Corod: from 139 to 828 policies. Emergency aid: Government Decisions 1145/2024 and 1171/2024, 143.3 million lei (AJPIS Galați).
