# Press where the arrow points

Twelve arrows appear one by one in the HTML edition, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right of the screen. The game keeps 12 answers, shows each verdict with its time, and works out the score, the average times, and the wrong-side cost.

## How it works

1. Press "Start the game" and watch the middle of the stage.
2. A sign with an arrow appears on the left or on the right.
3. Press Left or Right for where the arrow points, not where the sign sits.
4. After 12 arrows, the page shows your score and what the mismatched side cost you.

## What enters the score

We measure the time between the arrow appearing and your press. The result includes your attention, screen, keyboard or touch latency, and whatever work the browser is doing at that moment.

The series runs in the same order for everyone: six arrows sit on the side they point to, and six sit on the other side. The game describes these 12 answers on this device. It is not a medical test and says nothing about your eyesight in general.
