Why is it called Harrow & Wealdstone?

Where the name comes from
Named after the two places the station stands in, Harrow and Wealdstone. Wealdstone takes its name from the Weald Stone, a sarsen stone set up to mark the boundary between the parishes of Harrow and Harrow Weald. The station opened in 1837 simply as Harrow.
Worth knowing: The 1952 crash here killed 112 people and remains the worst peacetime rail disaster in the UK.
