Where the name comes from
Named after Marlborough Road in St John's Wood; the station stood at the junction of Finchley Road and Queen's Grove. The road itself was renamed Marlborough Place in the 1950s.
Worth knowing: After closure the station building housed a steak restaurant and later a Chinese restaurant.
