Where the name comes from
Named after Stonebridge, near the junction of the North Circular Road and the Harrow Road. The area is named after a stone bridge built over the River Brent in the later 17th century, when most bridges were of wood.
Worth knowing: The platforms were rebuilt in 1948 after the original structures were destroyed by bombing in the Second World War.
