Where the name comes from
Named after Waddesdon. Opened as Waddesdon Road Siding, it was soon renamed Waddesdon; in 1922, when the Metropolitan's Waddesdon Manor station took the name Waddesdon, this one became Waddesdon Road to reduce confusion.
Worth knowing: It carried building materials for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild's Waddesdon Manor in the 1870s and 1880s.
