A 12-round game

Press where the arrow points.

Twelve arrows appear one by one, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right of the screen. Each one scores by where it points, not where it sits.

All 12 answers stay on this page and disappear when you reload it.

You can also answer with the left and right arrow keys.

What enters the score

The device is part of the result.

We measure the time between the arrow appearing and your press. The result includes your attention, screen, keyboard or touch latency, and whatever work the browser is doing at that moment.

The series runs in the same order for everyone: six arrows sit on the side they point to, and six sit on the other side. The wrong-side cost subtracts the average of your correct times on mismatched arrows from the average of your correct times on matching ones. The game describes these 12 answers on this device. It is not a medical test and says nothing about your eyesight in general.
