Brochures sell ships; this page sells the decision: 6 real itineraries, 3 companies, months and fares all retrieval-dated. Fares are the starting fares of capture day, and all three operators say itineraries can change — re-check with the company before booking. No June/July here (no dated departures on the captured pages), no heat/crowd claims (no citable source).
Method & sources
D1 · Viking pages (18.09.2026)
Passage to Eastern Europe 2026 both directions: Bucharest→Budapest and the reverse (linked from the first page, captured 200). The 11-day program transcribed row by row: two Bucharest nights (Palace of Parliament, Village Museum), Ruse, Vidin, Iron Gate sailing day + Golubac, Belgrade, Osijek, Kalocsa, three Budapest nights (Castle District, Chain Bridge, spas). From $3,799 both ways; about $345/day is the starting fare divided by days, this site's arithmetic, not a mean. 'Included+optional' compresses the site's wording; ship, embarkation port and months are absent from the captured pages and not invented. Terms: itinerary and shore excursions are subject to change and may vary by departure.
D2 · AmaWaterways pages (18.09.2026)
Gems of Southeast Europe: 8 day-cards (Budapest, Pécs excursion, Vukovar, Belgrade, Iron Gates, Vidin, Rousse, Giurgiu disembark) + 20 dated departures (direction+date+ship: AmaBella/AmaVerde/AmaMagna, e.g. 21.09.2026 Giurgiu→Budapest on AmaBella); the reverse has dates and ships, day-by-day detail only Budapest→Giurgiu. Grand Danube: 14 nights, 15 stops Vilshofen→Giurgiu + 20 dated departures (September 2026–April 2027). No fare on either page; port charges $323/person (2026, included), $378 (2027), $391 (2028), single 50% (suites 100%). Terms: dates, fares and itineraries are subject to change.
D3 · CroisiEurope pages (18.09.2026)
From the Black Sea to the Blue Danube (Oltenița→Vienna, 12 days) and the reverse From the Blue Danube to the Black Sea (linked from the first page, captured 200). Route strings transcribed stop by stop (including the canal–Constanța leg, GIURGIU, RUSE, the Iron Gates, BELGRADE, NOVI SAD, BUDAPEST, BRATISLAVA, VIENNA). Ships: MS Vivaldi and MS L'Europe (tables pair dates with ships). Fares: C1 €2,292–€3,060 (03/04.10.2026 departures), C2 €2,839–€3,279 (8 departures in 2027); footnote: lowest all-inclusive per-person inside-cabin price, excluding supplements, transportation, transfers, fees, taxes and optionals; per-day figures are this site's arithmetic. Optional excursions: CLASSIC guided (Belgrade city tour, Bratislava tour + tasting) and DISCOVERY active (Belgrade by bike, Little Carpathians hike), Constanța (mosque exterior, church interior, lighthouse, casino exterior) optional. Terms: the order of visits can change, times are approximate; booking asks for passport numbers.
D4 · AFDJ and INHGA
AFDJ overview (captured 18.09.2026, 200): the Romanian sector = Baziaș km 1,075 to the mouth — the source of the 1,075 km hook, cited next to the figure; branches: Drobeta, Giurgiu, Călărași, Brăila, Sulina, Tulcea. AFDJ levels page (same day, 200): example Orșova (km 954) 2,518 cm, Gruia (km 851) −152 cm, Drobeta (km 931) 680 cm (values of 18.09.2026 03:00, not means). The INHGA Danube diagnosis+prognosis collection (same day, 200): a self-check gate, this page transcribes no values. The Danube Commission ports map: link only.
D5 · Site siblings
Cazanele Dunării (day trips: Orșova departures, fares, hours), Delta logistics (permits+boats), Delta birding (the monthly wheel): mutual links, separate subjects. Day-trip fares, boat timetables or monthly bird detail on this page mean overreach — please flag it.
D6 · Missing, on the record
June/July departures; heat/crowds; the Viking ship and port; Ama fares; cabin comparison; Delta-mouth sailings; Cazane day trips; which day the water suits (read the bulletins, not this page).

The three-axis comparison, the schematic and the filtering logic are original; itineraries, fares and terms link to sources. Operator pages are versions, not guarantees: every figure carries its capture date — re-check at booking.
