Where the name comes from
Named after the Canons Park area of Harrow. "Canons" refers to the canons of the Augustinian priory of St Bartholomew in Smithfield, which held the land. In 1713–25 the Duke of Chandos built a country house called Cannons on the site.
Worth knowing: It is the least used station on the Jubilee line.
