Where the name comes from
Named after the crossroads of the Great South West Road and Hatton Road. Hatton comes from Anglo-Saxon Hǣþtūn, heath farmstead; the area was surrounded by heath until 1819.
Worth knowing: The tiling on the platform columns uses patterns taken from the British Airways Speedbird logo.
