Where the name comes from
Named after the Heathrow Airport terminals it serves. It opened in 1977 as Heathrow Central, then became Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3; it took its present name in 2016 after Terminal 1 closed. The airport itself was called London Airport until 1966.
Worth knowing: Platform signs still read Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3, years after Terminal 1 closed.
