Questions workers ask

My offer shows a gross salary below 4,325 lei.

From 1 July 2026 the general national gross minimum base salary is 4,325 lei/month for the normal schedule described by Government Decision 146/2026. If the gross base salary on a current full-time offer is below that general floor, do not “fix” the discrepancy with a recruiter’s verbal promise; preserve the offer and obtain qualified advice.

Boundary: Sectoral, job-specific or immigration salary thresholds can be higher; this is the national general floor described by the cited decision.

What to do next

  1. Compare gross base salary with the statutory gross floor, not net take-home pay.
  2. Check whether the figure is genuinely monthly gross base salary and whether a special category/working-time arrangement applies.
  3. Preserve the dated offer and contract.
