Authentic Souvenirs: Horezu Ceramics and the Ie Blouse
Horezu answers to hand unevenness, jirăvit feathering, and the five-colour palette; the ie to the needle back, natural fibre, and the shoulder altiță. Both are UNESCO — but UNESCO certifies the craft, not the piece in your hand; photos never tell, in doubt put it down.
From UNESCO lists 00610 + 01861 and the MNTR ceramics/costume collections (fetched 2026-09-18). Every tell sourced with confidence; uncertain is a legitimate output.

UNESCO certifies the craft, not the piece in your hand. Horezu 2012, the altiță blouse 2022 made the human List — the stall piece answers only to the checklist + maker; uncertain stays uncertain, photos never tell.

Horezu: red pottery handmade in northern Vâlcea, UNESCO 00610 (2012, 7.COM). Men dig and knead the earth, women decorate with horn and wire-tipped stick; finger shaping, wood firing. We check craft traits, not a place stamp.
