Visiting
A relatively low limestone-and-crystalline massif (Cozia peak, 1,668 m), but with a sub-Mediterranean climate rare for the Carpathians and views over the Olt gorge. It combines ridge trails with spiritual landmarks — Cozia Monastery, founded by Mircea the Elder — and natural ones, like Lotrișor waterfall.
