Visiting
Limestone gorges, sulphurous hot springs and caves — among them Grota Haiducilor and Grota cu Aburi — in a southern-Carpathian climate that supports Mediterranean flora rare elsewhere in Romania. Băile Herculane, a spa town over 2,000 years old, sits at the park's gate.
