This page tells dates ＋ documents only: 11 markers, each with a source, no trade totals (they live on the Dashboard); Beijing's 1968 reaction has no filing quote and stays out; Lupu gives 3 October, five official and academic sources give 5 October — the page keeps 5 and notes the split; Cernavodă and 5G have no primary filing and stay out.

D1 · Recognition (the MFA ＋ the Chinese Embassy, captured 2026-09-18, 200)

The MFA bilateral page (browser): “România a fost a treia țară care a recunoscut ulterior R.P. Chineză în octombrie 1949, relațiile diplomatice fiind stabilite la 5 octombrie 1949, la rang de ambasadă.” The Embassy newsletter, Oct 2024 (12,464,667-byte PDF): “La data de 5 octombrie 1949, cele două țări stabilesc relațiile diplomatice, România fiind a treia țară care recunoaște întemeierea noii Chine.” Plus: the 2004 preamble (“自一九四九年十月五日中罗建交以来”); the “64 years” (2013); the “70 years” (2019). D2 · The ambassador and the memcon (Lupu ＋ FRUS, captured 2026-09-18, 200)

Lupu 2022 (ULBS, 510,540-byte PDF, ToUnicode-decoded): “Romania's first ambassador to the People's Republic of China was Teodor Rudenko”, 1950–1952 and 1957–1959 (note after the Suciu memoir). 1971: the Wilson Center, “Ceaușescu's visit to China [June 1-9, 1971]” (after the 6 Nov 1971 memo). 2004: the MFA (the Hu visit ＋ the title); the CN text: “胡锦涛于2004年6月12日-14日对罗马尼亚进行国事访问”, “双方宣布建立全面友好合作伙伴关系” (official act, text on a mirror). 2013: gov.ro, the declaration page (25 Nov, title ＋ text) ＋ the 16＋1 page (“Romania hosted the second 16 ＋ 1 Summit on November 26, 2013”) ＋ the MFA ＋ the Belt and Road portal (13 contracts, the fourth Confucius, the cultural-centres agreement, the 2013–16 plan). 2014: gov.cn (Xi–Ponta, 2 Sept) ＋ the Cairo embassy (31 Aug – 2 Sept, agriculture-energy-infrastructure). 2019: gov.ro (the 12 Apr Dubrovnik bilateral: PPPs, traditional medicine, agri-exports, energy, Belt and Road, EU–China) ＋ the MFA. 2015: the MFA (the 26 Sept New York meeting, verbatim). 2024: the MFA (the 3 July Beijing consultations ＋ Wang Yi on 27 Sept).

D4 · What is missing

1968: the Wilson Center summarises “assistance and weapons”, with no filing quote — out. Trade totals: all on the Dashboard (the MFA page carries 2023 totals, this page uses none). Cernavodă, 5G: no primary filing — out. IRSEA (former S4) returns 404; the modern markers rest on the MFA (official, better). Old people.cn links 404; the 2014 marker rests on current gov.cn. The CN text of 2004 survives in full only on a mirror: beyond title and dates, no long quotes.
