My employment contract is only in Romanian.

Current WorkinRomania guidance says the employment contract, and the placement contract where applicable, must be available in Romanian and in the worker’s origin-country language or an international language the worker understands. A document you cannot understand is therefore not something to treat as a normal inconvenience.

Ask in writing for the contract in a language you understand.
Do not sign a translation you have not compared with the Romanian version.
Keep the version you received and the date you received it.
