Is the Fetești bridge toll still paid in 2026? Giurgeni, Giurgiu–Ruse, Calafat–Vidin and ferries, by direction

From 1 October 2026 Romania no longer charges a bridge toll at Fetești–Cernavodă, Giurgeni–Vadu Oii or on Giurgiu → Ruse, but the rovinietă stays and Bulgaria and the Calafat–Vidin bridge still charge. Pick a crossing on the map of the Danube, a vehicle and a direction and see the amount, with the source of each line, the rovinietă by Euro norm, the steps to get back tolls paid in advance and the sources that disagree. In Romanian and English.

Barcelona's beaches: where the sea was in 1957, and where it is now

The water's edge on nine Barcelona beaches, measured every 20 metres on 29 aerial photos, 1946–2025. At Barceloneta the sea is where it was in 1957; at Mar Bella it is 270 metres further out. Across the nine beaches, the sand added in 2010 was gone within about a decade. The coast unrolled into one strip, year by year, and every beach with its own width. In Romanian, English, Spanish and Catalan.
