A person
Engineer Dimitrie Leonida (1883–1965), who drew up a Bucharest metro plan as a student.
Dimitrie Leonida was a power engineer and professor; as a student at the Charlottenburg Polytechnic (1903–1908) he drew up a project for a 'Bucharest Metropolitan'. Former Metrorex director Gheorghe Udriște says a station had to bear his name because he first thought of a metro; this one got it in the 2009 renamings.
