Where the name comes from

The Râul Doamnei river, a tributary of the Argeș ('the Lady's River').

Râul Doamnei is a tributary of the Argeș, diverted into the Vidraru reservoir. Why the station, or the nearby street, bears the river's name is not clear.

  • The TBMs Varvara and Filofteia bored from Academia Militară to here, finishing in January 2015.
