The Străulești area in north-west Bucharest, by the exit towards Mogoșoaia.

The station takes the name of the Străulești area, at the city's north-western exit towards Mogoșoaia. Where the name Străulești comes from is not clear.

Worth knowing

  • It is the northern terminus of M4, with a new depot and a park & ride.
  • The Parc Bazilescu–Străulești section has two stations and was built by Astaldi.
  • Tunnelling was completed on 3 September 2015.
  • There is a small Metrorex museum with Bombardier and CAF train models.
