Where the name comes from
A place or district
Mihai Bravu road, named in honour of Michael the Brave.
The station stands on the road of the same name, a major artery opened in 1916 as an extension of Ștefan cel Mare boulevard, between Obor and Dristor. The road is named in honour of Prince Michael the Brave.
